Member Approach
[For member reference only - not for publication)
C-TrOnyx exists as a brand only, and not a formal organization or legal entity. The brand represents the collective strategic, leadership, and transformational experience of it’s members, and the service and expertise that the group offers, both individually or in partnership. The group exists to confidentially share and explore fractional, interim, and advisory opportunities among trusted peers. Participation is give-first, non-transactional, and based on mutual respect and discretion. No member owes another work, referrals, or compensation. Our success is measured by trust, insight, and occasional great outcomes—not volume.
‘Member’ is used to represent each consultant/advisor that is collaborating to share insights, opportunities, experiences, etc. and does not imply legal partnership or rights.
Clear Purpose:
Surface and share fractional, interim, advisory, and board-level opportunities
Exchange market intelligence (rates, demand signals, client behavior)
Make warm introductions when there is genuine fit
Not a referral-fee arrangement, recruitment firm, or coaching venue
No Ownership Claims on Opportunities:
Whoever originates an opportunity does not own the outcome
Introductions are made in good faith, not tracked or monetized
No expectation of revenue sharing or ownership
Candor is why this group exists
Radical Trust + Lightweight Confidentiality:
No legal NDAs, just shared ethics
Opportunities shared are not blasted externally
Names of clients/leads are treated as permission-based
No back-channeling to undercut another member
If something is shared here, it stays here unless explicitly opened up
Trust is the actual asset of this group
Fit Over Favoritism:
Share an opportunity with clear context (ideal profile, risk, urgency)
Members self-select based on fit
Originator may suggest someone, but does not “assign” work
Tight Membership Criteria:
7-10 people max
Senior enough to operate independently
Actively working or recently worked in:
Fractional leadership
Interim exec roles
Advisory / transformation / turnaround contexts
Anyone can step out without explanation
Periodic “is this still working?” check-ins
Group can dissolve without drama if value fades
Simple Cadence & Light Stewardship
Bi-monthly
A clean 60–75 minute structure:
Quick check-in (5 min total)
Opportunity round (what’s active, what’s emerging)
Market signals (rates, demand, buying patterns)
One deep dive (a live opportunity or strategic question)
Clear asks before closing
No boss—but someone needs to tend the fire; a convener, agenda setter, and norms enforcer
